Solid Insight is now offering the CSWP Examination at our facility in Centerville!

The CSWP sets the standard for Advanced SolidWorks users, with over 3,000 certified users worldwide. What this means to the engineer and mechanical designer is that he or she has a mastery of the software that separates them from other users, and that prospective employers will immediately recognize them as advanced, experienced SolidWorks users. What this means to employers is that their employee or potential employee has more than just the requisite skills for working with SolidWorks; that person has knowledge and experience enough to "hit the ground running" with little or no training necessary. What this means to your customers is that your engineering and design staff maintains the highest level of training and knowledge and is fully qualified to do the work required. Everybody wins.

The examination itself consists of a 75 minute, closed-book, comprehensive written exam which covers all features and functionality of  SolidWorks, followed by a 6 hour & 45 minute practical exam in which you will be required to build two SolidWorks models - one which covers basic skills, and another which demonstrates advanced knowledge in one of three areas: Sheet Metal & Weldments, Advanced Part Modeling, or Advanced Assembly Modeling.

Those persons who pass the exam will receive a certificate, CSWP Portfolio and pen, and the CSWP logo for use on business cards or websites.

Solid Insight is also offering a half-day seminar in which we will highlight the topics that are covered on the exam, and help you to identify subjects for which additional study is required. We will talk about the test itself and how better to prepare for it through study and practice, so you have a better idea of what to expect on test day.
